Nasal version of H1N1 vaccine and Tamiflu side effects in Canadian aboriginals

Admin. September 21, 2009

Russel Means Freedom got an article posted September 19 2009 by Kevin D. Annett that says:

“Last week, many of the aboriginal people in the remote west coast village of Ahousaht were inoculated with the Tamiflu vaccine. Today, over a hundred of them are sick, and the sickness is spreading.

In the same week, body bags were sent to similarly remote native reserves in northern Manitoba that have also received the Tamiflu vaccine.

On the face of things, it appears that flu vaccinations are causing a sickness that is being deliberately aimed at aboriginal people across Canada, and this sickness will be fatal: a fact acknowledged by the Canadian government by their “routine” sending of body bags to these Indian villages.” Link to whole article:

Drugs.com states the following Tamiflu side effects:

All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects.Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome when using Tamiflu:

Diarrhea; nausea; stomach pain; vomiting.

Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Tamiflu:

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); abnormal behavior; confusion; hallucinations; mood or mental changes; reddened, blistered, peeling, or swollen skin; seizures; severe or persistent nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea; symptoms of infection (eg, fever, chills, persistent sore throat).

At the same time we hear that there is a nasal version of H1N1 vaccine available now:

“WASHINGTON: The first US roll-out of vaccines against the new swine flu virus will be 3.4 million doses of MedImmune's nose spray, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said on Friday.
The CDC's Dr Jay Butler said the vaccines would be distributed the first week of October. "Initially we anticipate that 3.4 million doses of vaccine will be available," Butler told a telephone briefing. "We anticipate being able to start receiving orders for the vaccine by early October," Butler added.
The US government is providing the H1N1 vaccine for free to about 90,000 distributors, including doctor's offices, retail chains and state health departments. "We estimate that the amount of vaccine that will be available will increase through October," Butler said, adding that eventually delivery would rise to about 20 million doses a week.”

Lets remember that this new version of the vaccine have not been tested for safety.

Wikipedia.org mention a study on military personnel: “A military study on military personnel showed that flu shots yielded less illness than nasal spray. Based on one of the largest head-to-head studies comparing LAIV and TIV (which was conducted by the U.S. Armed Forces Surveillance Center on military personnel who were stationed in the United States during three flu seasons from 2004 through 2007), investigators concluded that: "It may be prudent to use TIV in patients who were vaccinated at least once in the past 2 years [...] but LAIV against pandemic strains maybe be more protective than inactivated vaccines, because the population will probably lack preexisting immunity."

Lets look at Flumist : For at least 21 days after receiving FluMist, avoid close contact with anyone who has a weak immune system caused by disease (such as cancer, HIV, or AIDS), or by certain medicines such as steroids, cancer chemotherapy, or radiation treatment. A person with a weak immune system can become ill if they have close contact with you after you have recently received a an influenza vaccine.

Am I the only one confused? This LAIV seem to have popped up out of nowhere. I will follow the development without blinking.
